About this policy
This policy describes how Elixir Studio, the operator of the Field Hockey Lineup Builder website, handles information when you use the browser-based lineup tool. The tool does not require an account. Lineup details you enter are used in your browser to build, save, and export your team sheet; they are not sent to our server by the lineup builder.
Analytics and your choice
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 loads and receives usage events such as changes to formation, colour selections, whether export actions succeed, and clicks on links to Top D Hockey. The events do not include player names or lineup contents. Google may process information such as online identifiers, device and browser information, approximate location, and how you use the site. Google's processing is also subject to its own terms and privacy information.
Analytics is optional. It is off unless you choose “Accept analytics.” Choosing “Reject analytics” leaves it off. You can change your choice at any time using . Your choice is stored in this browser's local storage under hockey-lineup-analytics-consent; the site does not use that value to identify you.
Cookies and local storage
The consent choice is saved in local storage, a small browser storage area, so the site can remember whether analytics was accepted or rejected. This is used only to remember your privacy choice. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics may use cookies and similar technologies for measurement. These analytics technologies are not loaded before consent.
The lineup tool may also temporarily use browser memory and object URLs to display a background image or generate an export. These are used for the requested tool features and are not sent to the lineup builder's server.
Third-party services
The site loads resources from Google Fonts, Tailwind CSS's CDN, unpkg (Lucide icons), an Elixir Systems footer widget, and a promotional background image from Top D Hockey. Your browser makes requests to those providers to retrieve the resources or widget, which can expose technical request information such as your IP address and browser details to them. These resources are separate from the optional Google Analytics tag. Please refer to each provider's privacy information for how it handles those requests.
The site is hosted by Netlify. Netlify may process technical information in connection with hosting and security. See Netlify's privacy information for details.
Your information and rights
Depending on where you live, data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to certain personal information, and to complain to a data protection authority. For requests about information processed by Google or other third-party providers, you may also need to contact that provider.
